IN4.0 Education is a Community Interest Company, with aspirations emanating from a desire to creatively disrupt the developing skills agenda, beyond the confines of STEM classification, ensuring it keeps a pace with digital and technological innovations.

Our vision is to empower young people to be leaders within their local area and within local industries by exploiting opportunities within the increasing digital and technological disruption of local economies.

We also focus on the ability to demonstrate leadership within developments relating to the changing skills requirements of industry and how educational institutions best serve these. This, in turn, will “future proof” those industries from skills shortages by addressing current skills requirements in established industries as well as supporting emerging sectors to meet the needs of tomorrow!

IN4.0 Education operates the DEVA Network, Technical Teaching Assistants and the IN4.0 Finishing School.

DEVA Network

The 21st century is ushering in an epoch of unprecedented digital and technological innovation. Set against this backdrop, the way young people will work and the skills they will need to thrive in their careers are rapidly evolving.

DEVA will address this challenge by delivering an innovative, digital careers, enterprise and widening participation experience to young people equipping them with the confidence, motivation, knowledge and skills to reach their true potential. This will enable and empower our young people to use digital technology to positively challenge their circumstances and take control of their destiny.

A central feature will be the co-creation of a video CV by each student aided by influential DEVAs (Digital Entrepreneurs, Vloggers and Ambassadors) who will have been brigaded into a unique and dynamic, social media directed mentor network. This experience will facilitate pathways culminating in creating employable people integral to the talent pipeline of the 21st century workforce within the creative and digital sectors.

Technology Graduate Accelerator to Employment and Entrepreneurship

Our ability to deliver commercial success through innovation adoption for our clients is achieved through our expert team. We bring together ‘Technical Disruptors’, technology post-graduate talent, nurtured and developed through our partnership with UCLan, and industry leaders with a track record of achieving business success.

There are two tracks that graduates can take within the IN4.0 School. They can either train to become an IN4.0 Technical Teaching Assistant or an IN.40 Technical Disruptor.

IN4.0 TTA - Technical Teaching Assistants

Creating a new breed of supercharged Technical Teaching Assistants (TTA’s).

Technical Teaching Assistants are technology and engineering  postgraduates from local universities, deployed into local schools to help enable technology within the classroom. TTA’s will also have the opportunity to undertake educational technology projects as part of their Masters research programme.

IN4.0 Education will equip post-graduate students with the skills required to step into a Technical Teaching Assistant role and enable them to:

  • Act as a school’s designated technology enabler.

  • Enable the effective use of technology in the classroom to further enhance attainment and achievement.

  • Support the implementation of technology in the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.

  • Assist teachers with projects and industry outreach.

  • Act as a mentor to students.

  • Research and apply an educational technology project as part of Masters.  

  • Become a dedicated Microsoft Accredited Practitioner.

Technical Disruptors

IN4.0 Technical Disruptors are a cohort of excellent graduates that are equipped with the skills to deliver business outcomes, work directly with our clients and help to support SMEs through rapid change. They’re technically qualified in a specific industrial digital technology and they’ll use their skills and knowledge to help SMEs reap the benefits of adopting Industry 4.0 technologies.

Before they work in industry or education, our postgraduates will complete the IN4.0 Finishing School, a ground breaking and innovative 5-week programme to nurture and equip them with the skills and guidance to be selected to work as an IN4.0 Technical Teaching Assistants or Technical Disruptors. transition into high value employment or start-up businesses
